I'm Luke Whitestone, a Member of Technical Staff at Microsoft. I work primarily as an infrastructure engineer supporting FDE, and I concentrate on the intersection of AI governance and engineering: wiring infrastructure-as-code, writing shared components that ship secure by default, and enforcing controls at any scope (from code to CI to Azure Policy). The throughline is the thesis on the home page: make the compliant path the path of least resistance, and treat the edges where that breaks as the input to the next iteration. I believe this is all the more important in the age of Generative AI.
